Skype's Internet telephony service is one of the hottest things on the Web today, slashing phone bills for more than 75 million users worldwide. Third-party manufacturers have released a slew of Skype accessories in recent months. I tested five new Skype-ready products (read the reviews), all of which work with other voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. It is sleek, comfortable, Skype-ready Bluetooth headset. It connected easily to my Dell laptop and my Treo. Battery life was as billed: about six hours. But the range was disappointing, far less than the ten meters that Bluetooth boasts. The Voyager delivered clear sound in quiet rooms. Unlike many headsets, it also worked well in cars and other noisy environments.
